They are available in four BUNDLES, six COLLECTIONS and 14 individual instrument SECTIONS (Strings, Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion & More, Keyboards & Guitars) that may be purchased separately.

All sounds work perfectly in a variety of musical styles, from pop and rock environments to large symphonic arrangements. With various upgrade paths you may expand your library step-by-step at any time, according to your needs and budget.

Special Edition Vol. 2 Strings Section

This section contains the Chamber Strings and Appassionata Strings (bonus patches) of the Special Edition Volume 2 Collection. The Chamber Strings ensembles offer the most important single note articulations such as short, medium, and long (sustained) notes, sforzatos, tremolos, and pizzicatos. What’s more, Vienna’s unique Legato and Portamento Performances are included as well!

The real recorded notes and note transitions, as performed by top musicians from Vienna’s renowned orchestras, come perfectly to life thanks to the Vienna Instruments player’s performance detection algorithms. The Appassionata Strings bonus patches include staccatos and sustains.

All of these string instruments and articulations are also part of the Special Edition Volume 2 Collection. Now you have the possibility to get the Chamber Strings and Appassionata Strings bonus patches of this collection separately, easy to download and ready to play. What’s more, you may add additional articulations, available with the Special Edition Vol. 2 Strings PLUS.

Product activation:
Vienna Instruments require the ViennaKey!
This USB protection device by eLicenser (by Steinberg, formerly Syncrosoft) is not included in the box of any collection, it is a separate item you have to get additionally. So you’ll have to order at least one ViennaKey with your first purchase. It will be put inside the shopping basket automatically but can be deleted if not required. Customers who order the complete SYMPHONIC CUBE will get one ViennaKey for free (not shown in the basket). If you already own another eLicenser USB protection device (e.g., from Steinberg or Arturia), you can use it for the VIENNA INSTRUMENTS, too. Each dongle can store up to 100 product licenses.
Additionally an internet connection on any computer is required to authorize a VSL product.
